Meet Lianna Pevar, LPC

Lianna earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Old Dominion University in 2022. She started her therapy career providing treatment and crisis intervention at the Virginia Beach Psychiatric Hospital and completed her LPC residency at Transformation Health Services, where she continues to see clients full-time both virtually and in-office.

Lianna takes a supportive, non-judgmental, and collaborative approach to therapy, working with adults navigating mood disorders, trauma, schizophrenia, workplace challenges, relationship concerns, and major life transitions. She uses an eclectic, evidence-based approach, incorporating CBT, DBT, ACT, and solution-focused techniques. She values working with individuals from diverse backgrounds and collaborating across multidisciplinary teams to provide well-rounded, effective care.

In addition to her clinical work, Lianna brings a unique perspective shaped by years of experience in the corporate space, including sales, franchising, and entrepreneurship. She continues to operate a corporate photography company, helping individuals and businesses present themselves with confidence as an extension of her passion for helping people feel empowered.

Outside of work, she enjoys gardening, spending time with her family in Connecticut, listening to true crime podcasts, and long hikes with her forever puppy, Khaleesi.
